I decided to blog not long after I discovered it. Sadly that is just before Christmas 2003. I wonder what I was doing on the computer berfore now, it sure seems like everybody knows so much more than I do. For all the hours I spend online, you'd think I was far more knowledgeable....



Oh well.



Actually, I have a good excuse for my lack of knowledge. I have spent many hours researching natural health related issues for my small home business. Perhaps that's where I will begin, because to know that you are moving forward is to understand where you have been. And I have been to the top (of sorts) and have also hit the bottom (where I am now, although I appreciate that there is always lower).



For some reason, however, I feel this time that there are forces that are guiding me towards my goals and dreams of who and what I really want to become, and that is why I am writing here now.



So many people around me are finally doing, or putting into motion, something they have always wanted to do. My sales rep for the radio station I advertise with has just recently purchased a Bed & Breakfast in Ontario, Canada, something he has always wanted to do. My personal opinion is that it symbolizes a quiet introspective lifestyle, something which is difficult in the advertising sales industry.



Another friend of mine finally got the job she has always wanted and is truly happy doing it. Just earlier tonight another friend quit her job waitressing to give her the freedom to pursue a career in show business.



All this happening while I am going through transitions with my professional life as well. Wow.



I would love to hear anyone's stories about following their dreams...



I will continue next time by describing where I have been, professionally. Not that I expect anyone will find it interesting, it just sets a backdrop for understanding how one can become caught in a whirlwind of activity and lose sight of what is important.
